Santas Rudolf is a Christmas slot from Fazi, released on 1 December 2025. It plays on a 5x4 grid with 10 paylines, returns 96.28% at high volatility, and it prints its own ceiling across the top of the machine: 10,000x JACKPOT.

A Forest Under The Northern Lights

The reels stand in a snowy pine forest at night, green aurora rippling across the sky behind the trees. The frame is a dark cabinet edged in gold, with the SANTAS RUDOLF logo on the top rail and a team of red-nosed reindeer between it and the jackpot banner.

The symbols are Christmas-card stock, well drawn: Rudolf himself, a loaded sleigh, a decorated tree, golden bells, blue baubles, a lantern, a snowflake and Santa.

The Sleigh Is Five Times Rudolf

At the 900.00 bet our session ran at, for five, four, three and two of a kind:

Sleigh – 225,000 / 45,000 / 18,000
Rudolf – 45,000 / 22,500 / 9,000 / 900
Tree, Bells – 36,000 / 9,000 / 3,600
Baubles, Lantern – 18,000 / 4,500 / 1,800
Snowflake, Santa – 18,000 / 3,600 / 900

In multiples the sleigh is worth 250x the bet for five, and Rudolf 50x. That is a factor of five between the top two symbols, which is a very wide gap – and below Rudolf the table flattens completely into three pairs of identical values.

Rudolf is also the only symbol that pays for a pair, at 900 – exactly the stake back.

The Sleigh Pays From Anywhere

One spin landed three sleighs on three different reels at three different heights – nowhere near a common line – and paid 18,000.00, which is precisely the printed three-of-a-kind figure. A later spin landed four sleighs, again scattered across four reels on four different rows, and paid 45,000.00 – precisely the four-of-a-kind figure.

So the sleigh pays by count rather than by position. On a ten-line game that is a considerable advantage: the best symbol in the game does not need a payline at all.

The paytable also carries a separate note at the top – “‘Golden Rudolf’ is Scatter. Scatter appears on reels 2, 3 and 4.” – so a gilded version of the reindeer is the feature trigger, restricted to the middle three reels.

What The Spins Paid

Five results, all at the same 900.00 stake. A run of Santas across the lower rows returned 1,800.00 – twice the bet. Blue baubles down the first three reels paid 14,400.00, or 16x.

The two scattered sleigh spins paid 18,000.00 and 45,000.0020x and 50x. And the best of the session was a near-full board of Christmas trees that returned 90,000.00, or 100x – well above the tree’s own five-of-a-kind value of 40x, because several lines paid at once.

Our balance climbed steadily from 463,100 to 585,500 across those spins, which is a better run than the high volatility rating would lead you to expect.

Two Figures Worth Checking Elsewhere

If you compare this game across slot catalogues you will find two numbers that do not match what the machine says, so it is worth being precise about both.

The maximum win is 10,000x. It is printed in letters an inch high across the top of the cabinet beside the logo, and there is no ambiguity about it – some listings carry a much larger figure that belongs to a different title.

The layout is a fixed 5x4 grid with 10 paylines, not a variable-ways game. The information screen shows numbered payline diagrams, and the frame carries a line-indicator column down both edges with the active lines lit as they pay. Anything quoting a six-figure way count for this game has it confused with something else.

96.28% At High Volatility

The return is above average, which is generous for a game with a 10,000x ceiling and a scattered top symbol. There are no network jackpot pools here – no Gold, Platinum or Diamond bar across the top siphoning a slice off every spin – and that is the usual reason a Fazi title can afford a return in this range.

The high volatility rating comes from the shape of the paytable rather than from a feature: with the sleigh at 250x and everything below Rudolf compressed into a narrow band, ordinary spins are small and the good ones depend on one symbol.

Ten Lines On Twenty Squares

The grid is five reels of four rows – twenty positions – with only ten lines running across them. That leaves a lot of the board inactive on any given spin, which is precisely why the sleigh paying from any position matters so much.

It also explains the values. A ten-line game can afford 250x for five of the best symbol in a way a forty-line game never could, because the same board gives a quarter as many chances to hit it.

What The Bet Changes

Everything scales with the stake. Our screenshots were taken at 900.00, where five sleighs pay 225,000 and a pair of Rudolfs pays 900. At a tenth of that stake every figure falls by a tenth; the multiples – 250x on the sleigh, 10,000x as the ceiling – never move.

A Note On Availability

As of 16 September 2026 none of the six casinos we link to has Santas Rudolf in its lobby, and in September that is not especially surprising. Operators tend to switch seasonal titles off out of season and bring them back in the weeks before the holiday – Christmas, Halloween and Easter releases all move on that cycle. It is a tendency rather than a rule, and plenty of festive games do stay in the lobby year-round, but it is the likeliest explanation here. Expect this one to reappear as December approaches; the demo above runs on Fazi’s own promotional server and works all year.

More From Fazi

Fazi releases a full set of festive titles every winter alongside its year-round catalogue. Fortune Clover X2 Xmas puts a stacking x2 clover on five lines, Coin Splash Extreme shows the same engine without a seasonal skin, and Bella’s World is the version with network jackpots attached.

Who It Is For

Santas Rudolf is for players who want a handsome, straightforward Christmas machine with one genuinely useful quirk. That quirk is the sleigh: the best-paying symbol in the game at 250x, and one that pays by count rather than by line, so a board that looks like nothing can still be worth fifty times the stake. The artwork is among the better festive sets we have seen, the 96.28% return is good for a game with no jackpot pools draining it, and the ceiling is printed on the cabinet where you cannot miss it. The catch is the paytable below Rudolf, which is three pairs of identical values and very little else.
