Red Planet: Rapid Link is a NetGame slot built on a 4-4-6-6-8 grid – five reels of increasing height – giving 4,608 ways to win, a 96.26% RTP, medium volatility and a maximum win of 5,000x the bet. Theme and Graphics

The setting is the surface of Mars: rust-coloured dunes, a ridge of mountains on the horizon, and a burning orange planet hanging above the reels. A six-wheeled rover sits parked to the left of the board and a second one waits in the distance, so the scene is populated rather than empty.

The Spheres

The collectable symbol is a burning red planet with a cash value printed across it, and in the captures those values read 5.00, 7.50, 15.00, 30.00, 45.00 and 60.00 – from a third of the stake up to four times it.

They land in the base game as ordinary symbols, glowing against the darker tiles, and three or more of them opens the respin round.

The Rapid Link Round

When the round starts the reels are replaced by a clean grid of empty cells with the collected spheres locked in place, and a counter under the board reads RESPINS REMAINING 3. Every new sphere resets that counter to three, and the round ends when three consecutive spins land nothing. One capture shows a sphere marked MINI in the grid rather than a cash figure – so the jackpots are awarded from this board, not from the ordinary reels.

The Countdown Ladder

★ Above the grid sits a three-rung ladder, and it is the most interesting thing in the game. In the first capture the rungs read 16, 12 and 8, each pointing to a reward icon; several respins later the same three rungs read 11, 7 and 3.

They count down as spheres land, and the lowest rung in the second capture shows a 30.00 value waiting behind it – so the ladder turns a long round into a series of visible near-misses rather than an open-ended wait.

The completed round in the captures finished with RESPINS REMAINING 0 and a total of 240.00 against the 15.00 stake – 16x the bet, from a grid holding around a dozen spheres at 5.00, 7.50, 15.00 and 30.00 apiece.

No jackpot, no full grid, just enough spheres to be worth the entry. Reaching the 5,000x ceiling would take a board filled with 60.00 spheres and the Grand plaque on top.

The Pay Table

The line pays are deliberately small. At the stake used in the session the rover leads at 22.50 for five, 15.00 for four, 11.25 for three and 4.50 for two – the only symbol that pays from two. The shuttle and the dust explosion both return 11.25, 7.50 and 4.50 for five, four and three. The four card letters share a single ladder: 4.50, 3.00 and 1.50.

★ Convert the best of that: five rovers across a 4,608-way board pay one and a half times the stake. A single 60.00 sphere pays nearly three times as much. The reels exist to deliver spheres, and the pay table is there to stop the board feeling dead in between.

The Wild

The wild is an astronaut’s helmet with the planet reflected in the visor, and the pay table spells out its limits: available during the base game, replaces all symbols except bonus symbols and spheres. Both halves matter: it cannot help you into the round and it cannot touch a sphere, so it only improves the small line wins – one capture has a wild in the middle of the board next to a 36.00 result.

There is a second bonus that the jackpot plaques tend to overshadow. A rocket marked BONUS is the scatter, and the pay table gives the terms plainly: 3, 4 or 5 bonus symbols appearing on the reels activate the free spins with 10, 12 or 15 spins respectively.
