3 Royal Coins: Hold and Win is a Playson game on a three-by-three grid with 5 paylines, four jackpot tiers and three named features that sit above the reels as crowns: TWIN, MULTI and EXPAND.

How many of those three are running is what the buy menu sells, and it is the single thing that decides what a round is worth.

Theme and Graphics

The base game is dark purple with the reel frame outlined in flame, fire licking along its lower edge. Trigger the feature and the whole screen turns red and burning, the purple gone entirely.

That is EXPAND adding positions and MULTI attaching multipliers to them, running together. On a board that started as nine cells, a round carrying per-row multipliers up to x8 is a different game entirely.

It also explains the coin values. In the base round the coins read 5.00, 10.00, 15.00, 20.00 and 30.00 – one to six times the 5.00 stake. In the expanded round they read 100.00 and 340.00, which is 20x and 68x.

A single 340.00 coin is therefore worth more than twice what three bells pay on a payline, and the board in that capture held four of them. The distance between the two halves of this game is measured in factors, not percentages.
