Hearts And Stars OverviewHearts And Stars – titled Hearts & Stars Megapot on its own logo – is a five-reel, four-row slot from Foxi (Fazi) with 40 fixed paylines and a published ceiling of 10,145x. It was released on 3 February 2025. Neither an RTP nor a volatility rating is published for this title, and we have not invented either. All figures below were read from demo play at a total bet of 80 credits – forty fixed lines at 2 credits each, with one credit worth 0.01 EUR. Hearts, Stars and Very Little ElseThe backdrop is a wash of deep red with outlined hearts and stars glowing behind the frame, and the reels sit in a thin gold rectangle with the logo arched above them. The symbol set is short and old-fashioned: an apple, cherries, a plum, a gold bell, a BAR and a red 7. Two more do the work – a cluster of red hearts that is the wild, and a gold star marked MEGAPOT. The Paytable Is ModestIn credits, the wild is the best ordinary symbol at 2,000 for five, 800 for four and 80 for three – that is 25x the 80-credit bet. The 7 pays 800 for five (10x), the BAR 400 (5x), and the apple, cherries and plum share 200 for five (2.5x). Six symbols, four prices, and the whole table sits between 2.5x and 25x. Against a published ceiling above 10,000x, the lines are clearly not where this game keeps anything. The rules screen is equally direct: all pays are left to right, beginning with the leftmost reel, except megapot symbols, and highest payline win only paid. On forty overlapping lines that second sentence matters – wins on a line do not stack. The Megapot Pays From AnywhereThe gold star is exempt from every rule above. The paytable states it plainly: megapot symbols pay at any position on screen – no line, no left-to-right, no adjacency. And the wild cannot help you reach it. The wild’s own entry reads substitutes for all symbols except for the megapot star. A panel on the right edge shows what the stars are worth, and it changes with the count on screen. Across our captures it reads 3 stars – x100, 4 stars – x1,000 and 5 stars – x10,000. That is a tenfold step per star, held across all three rungs, which is a cleaner ladder than most games manage. Three stars returns a hundred times the bet; five returns ten thousand. It also explains the game’s odd published maximum of 10,145x – the five-star megapot at 10,000x, plus what the rest of the grid can pay alongside it. Two Jackpot Plates, Shared Across the StudioAlong the bottom edge the game shows two further figures: a GOLD JACKPOT at 6,955.05 and a PLATINUM JACKPOT at 1,000.41. Those are not numbers unique to this game. We have recorded the same two figures to the cent on other titles from this studio – they are shared pools running across the platform rather than plates belonging to Hearts And Stars. Unlike some of the studio’s games, where we have watched these pools tick up and down between captures, both held steady here. That is consistent with the pools being live but our captures being taken close together. What the Reels PaidThe captured wins read 320, 800, 880 and 2,320 credits. Against the 80-credit bet that is 4x, 10x, 11x and 29x. The largest came from a board with three stacked wilds on the second reel and BARs filling most of the rest – which is how a paytable capped at 25x produces 29x, by paying several lines at once. The Gamble Has a LimitAfter a win the game offers a card gamble with BLACK and RED buttons, a face-down card and a plain doubling: gamble amount 320, gamble to win 640. What sets it apart is the counter beside it. An ATTEMPTS figure sits under the cards, and in our captures it reads 2 in one and 0 in another – so the number of consecutive doubles is capped, and the game tells you how many you have left before you start. One capture catches a larger one mid-flow: gamble amount 1,280, gamble to win 2,560, with the attempts counter already at zero and an ace of diamonds turned face up. What the Session DidThe credit meter runs 4,360, up to 6,440, then back through 6,120 to 5,780. That is a net gain across the captures, driven by the 2,320 spin near the start. On a game where the paytable tops out at 25x and the stars reach 10,000x, a short session is always going to be decided by one or two boards. Who Should Play ItHearts And Stars is for players who want a plain forty-line fruit machine wrapped around one very large collectable. The megapot ladder is the clearest thing about it – ten times per star, printed on the right of the screen, with the stars paying from any position and the wild explicitly barred from substituting for them. The capped gamble is a thoughtful touch – a HISTORY strip records the cards drawn – and the two shared jackpot plates give the bottom of the screen something to watch. The reservations are the missing RTP and volatility figures and a base paytable running from 2.5x to 25x on six symbols. Without stars on the screen there is not much happening here, and three of them is the minimum that pays anything at all.
