Explosion Magic Overview

Explosion Magic is not a slot. It is a fast, round-based under/over game from KA Gaming, dressed up as a wizard’s duel with a distant castle. Every few seconds a hooded sorcerer launches a blast of magic, the spell deals a random amount of damage between 1 and 999, and you win if you called correctly whether the number would land under or over your chosen target. The game was released on 2 October 2024. KA Gaming has not published an RTP, volatility or maximum-win figure for it, so those fields stay empty.

A Wizard at the Castle Gates

The whole game plays out on one scene. A cloaked figure with a glowing crystal staff stands with his back to you on a rocky path, and a castle rises on the hill in front of him. When a round starts, the sky darkens, balls of pink and orange energy burst across the screen, and a blood-red splash announces the result – 803 DAMAGE or 950 DAMAGE in two of our captures.

A crystal gauge on the left fills up as the next round approaches, and a row of blue boxes along the top edge keeps the most recent results on show.

Setting Your Bet

Everything happens on one settings panel. A slider sets the DAMAGE target anywhere from 1 to 999, and two buttons below it choose UNDER or OVER. The odds for each side are shown next to the slider and change as you move the target. A second slider sets the stake, which in our demo ran from $1.00 up to $2,048.00.

A long PLAYING button at the bottom confirms the bet, and holding it switches on autoplay so the same call is repeated round after round.

How the Odds Work

The odds tell you how likely each side is. With the target at 500, UNDER paid 1.35x and OVER paid 3.27x. With the target at 200, OVER paid 1.73x.

These numbers show that the damage is not spread evenly over the 1–999 range. If it were, a call of over 500 would be close to a coin toss and would pay about 2x. Instead the game pays well over 3x for it, which means low results are much more common than high ones. A high target pays well because it rarely comes in.

Rounds on a Timer

Explosion Magic runs on a fixed clock rather than on your spin button. A ring in the middle of the screen counts down with the message NEXT ROUND IN 2.1s, and a panel beneath it confirms the bet you have placed – in our case OVER: 200 at 1.73x. A red Cancel button lets you pull the bet back before the countdown ends.

What the History Showed

Across our captures the history bar recorded eleven results: 216, 368, 36, 172, 418, 268, 69, 803, 11, 950 and 183. Nine of the eleven were under 420, and only two went above 800.

That fits the odds on the settings panel. Low and middling numbers are the everyday outcome, while a big blast like 950 is the event a high OVER call is waiting for.

What the Session Did

We placed one bet at the top stake of $2,048.00. The balance moved from $102,248.88 to $100,200.88, exactly the amount of the stake, so that round did not go our way.

Who Should Play It

Explosion Magic is for players who like quick, simple number games and want to choose their own risk. A low target on OVER, or a high one on UNDER, gives frequent small wins, while a far target gives a large multiplier that rarely lands.

It is not for anyone looking for reels, free spins or a storyline – each round lasts a few seconds and the only decision is where to set the slider.
