Dragons Lock Overview

Dragons’ Lock is a five-reel, four-row slot from Red Tiger with 40 win lines, an RTP of 95.73%, a high volatility rating and a published ceiling of 20,000x. It was released on 23 January 2025.

The 95.73% return is on the low side and worth noting before anything else. All figures below were read from demo play, and the paytable is printed as multipliers of the total bet, which makes it stake-independent.

Gold, and a Great Deal of It

The reels sit inside an enormous gilded dragon – its claws curl around the top corners of the frame and its wings fill the background – against a wash of orange rock and firelight.

The symbols are treasure: a turquoise egg in a gold setting, a jewelled ring, a green gem, a red gem, and beneath them A, K, Q, J and 10 carved into stone tablets.

The wild is a dragon’s eye, a dark red tile with WILD across it, and it lands stacked rather than singly – several of our captures show whole columns of them.

The Paytable Tops Out at 25x

The symbol-wins screen prints everything as a multiple of the total bet, so no conversion is needed.

The turquoise egg is the best symbol at x25 for five, x2.5 for four, x1 for three – and, unusually, x0.2 for two. It is one of the few symbols in any game we have covered that pays for a pair.

Below it the ring pays x10 for five, the green gem x7 and the red gem x5.

The stone tablets are flat: A and K pay x3 for five, and Q, J and 10 pay x2.5. Three of a kind across the whole low block is worth x0.3.

The wild carries its own value, and here is the detail worth knowing: it pays x25 for five – exactly the same as the best ordinary symbol, not more. Its line reads substitute for all paying symbols.

So the entire paytable runs from x0.3 to x25. Against a published ceiling of 20,000x that is a ratio of eight hundred to one, which tells you the lines are not the point of this game.

The Lock, and What It Does

The mechanic in the title is the stacked wild. Our captures show four wilds filling the first reel in one, and whole columns held on the first and third reels in another, with the win lines drawn in gold across the grid between them.

With forty lines running through a four-row grid, a single locked column sits on every line that passes through it. Two locked columns multiply that again, which is why the wild’s own x25 matters less than where it lands.

The rules are stated plainly on the lines screen: all symbols pay from left to right on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel. Nothing pays from the right, and nothing pays scattered.

Three Chests, and the Keys That Open Them

Three treasure chests sit above the reels with progress bars beneath them, each labelled with a ceiling: UP TO 200.00, UP TO 1,000.00 and UP TO 5,000.00.

The wording is careful. These are not fixed prizes – up to is doing real work – and the bars underneath show how far each chest has filled.

A banner across the top of one capture explains the link: DRAGON KEYS OPEN THE CHESTS! So keys landing on the reels are what progresses the bars, and the chests pay a range rather than a set amount.

That is a more honest piece of labelling than most three-tier systems manage, and the progress bars mean you can see where a session stands without opening a menu.

The Network Jackpots Are Real, and They Move

A panel down the left of the screen carries three more figures – DAILY JACKPOT, MEGA and HOURLY – each with a must pay within timer beneath it.

These belong to the studio’s network rather than to this game, and they are genuinely progressive. Across our captures the Daily climbs from 3,794.21 through 3,796.31, 3,796.72, 3,797.25, 3,797.60, 3,798.52 and 3,799.08 to 3,799.32.

The Mega rises from 74,774.21 to 74,776.28 over the same span, and the Hourly from 174.18 to 176.14.

Every figure moves on every capture, which is the difference between a live pool and a printed plate. The must-drop timers mean each one has a deadline attached – the Hourly in particular is designed to be won often and small.

What the Reels Paid

The captured wins read 2.00, 16.82, 28.00 and 46.91.

The two fractional results are the ones worth reading. A win of 16.82 or 46.91 does not come from a single line on a table priced in whole and half multiples – it is several lines settling together, which is what forty lines on a locked column produce.

The 46.91 landed on a grid carrying three separate wild columns and the dragon-keys banner above it. The 28.00 came from four A tablets and a stacked wild on the first reel.
