Features we found: hold and win, jackpot, cascade, expanding, gamble
Every slot is scored on the same four criteria, using the game's published data: RTP (40%), maximum win potential (25%), bonus features described in our review (30%) and how recent the release is (5%). Our editors can adjust a score after playing the game. Missing data counts as neutral. The score reflects the game's numbers and features, not your chances of winning; slots are games of chance, so please play responsibly.

Turbo Stars 40 OverviewTurbo Stars 40 is a five-reel, three-row fruit slot from Foxi (Fazi) with 40 fixed paylines that pay in both directions, an expanding star wild with a respin, three progressive jackpots and a gamble option. It was released on 15 October 2024, and the published maximum win is 1,700x the stake. It is the forty-line sibling of Turbo Stars 20, and the family resemblance is deliberate: the same red starfield, the same flaming fruit, the same gold star doing the heavy lifting. What changes is the number of lines, and with it the way the game spreads its wins across the grid. Fazi does not publish an RTP or a volatility rating for this title, and we have not guessed either. All figures below were read from demo play at an 80.00 total bet, which is 2.00 per line across the forty lines. Red Stars and Flaming FruitThe look is pure casino-floor classic. The reels sit in a dark frame against a deep red background scattered with small stars, and the game title glows in gold lettering above them. A large gold 40 sits on both sides of the grid as a reminder of the line count. The symbol set is the traditional one: a red lucky seven, a golden bell, watermelon, grapes, orange, plum, lemon and cherries. When a symbol forms part of a win it bursts into flame around its edges, which makes it easy to see at a glance which positions paid. Under the reels sits a compact control strip with the credit balance, the win box, the total bet, the fixed line counter, a gamble button and an autoplay switch. A rotating jackpot display in the bottom left cycles through the three progressive prizes. Forty Lines, Both DirectionsThe rules screen spells out the most important detail in its first sentence: all pays run from left to right and right to left, on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost and the rightmost reel respectively. Only the highest payline win is paid per direction. That two-way rule is why the grid lights up as often as it does. A cluster of cherries on the left two reels and a run of oranges on the right two can both pay on the same spin, because the game reads each line from both ends. The Paytable at an 80.00 BetThe paytable is short and tidy, with the fruit grouped in pairs that pay the same amounts. At an 80.00 total bet the values for three, four and five of a kind are: Seven: 200 / 1,000 / 2,000. Bell: 100 / 400 / 1,000. Watermelon and grapes: 40 / 100 / 400. Orange and plum: 20 / 60 / 300. Lemon and cherries: 20 / 50 / 200. Five sevens on one line therefore pay 2,000, which is 25x the total bet. That is a single line, in a single direction; the larger results come from the same high symbol landing on several lines at once, and the star wild is how that happens. The Expanding Star WildThe gold star is the game’s only special symbol. It appears on the second, third and fourth reels only, substitutes for all symbols on the same reel, and when it lands it expands to cover the whole reel and triggers a respin of the other reels. Because the star fills an entire reel and sits in the middle of the grid, it completes a large share of the forty lines at the same time. That is visible in our captures: a spin with two full star reels among plums paid 1,620.00, which is 20.25x the bet, from a combination that without the stars would have been worth very little. Another capture shows the respin in action. A full star on reel two between cherries and bells triggered the RESPIN banner and paid 950.00, almost 12x the stake, on the combined result. What the Demo PaidWithout the star, the base game pays in smaller steps. A block of watermelons on the right-hand reels paid 400.00 (5x the bet), and a group of grapes on the left paid 240.00 (3x). The best result without a star in our session came from cherries. Cherries filled most of the first four reels, and because the lines overlap so heavily on a three-row grid, the win box showed 1,080.00, which is 13.5x the bet from the cheapest symbol on the reels. Three Progressive JackpotsA jackpot display in the bottom left rotates through three progressive prizes. During our session it showed the Platinum Jackpot at 1,000.41, the Diamond Jackpot at 1,036.02 and the Gold Jackpot at 6,955.05. The Platinum figure of 1,000.41 is the same value we have seen in other Fazi games such as Turbo Stars 20, which suggests the jackpots are shared across the studio’s titles rather than tied to this one game. What triggers a jackpot award is not shown on the screens we captured, so we cannot describe the condition. The Gamble OptionAfter a win, the GAMBLE button lights up next to the TAKE WIN button. The slotcatalog feature list describes it as a risk (double) game, the familiar Fazi format where you can try to double a win or collect it straight away. The minimum bet is 0.20 and the maximum is 500, according to the slotcatalog listing. Who Should Play ItTurbo Stars 40 suits players who like classic fruit machines but want more action than a five-line game can offer. Forty lines paying in both directions mean frequent small wins, and the expanding star with its respin is a simple, easy-to-follow way to produce the bigger ones. The reservations are the absence of a published RTP and volatility, and a paytable where a line of five sevens pays only 25x the stake. The 1,700x ceiling is reachable only through multi-line star combinations, and the three jackpots have no visible trigger. Where to Play Turbo Stars 40You can try this game on 7gold Online Casino.
