It plays on five reels and three rows with 243 ways to win. SlotCatalog lists an RTP of 94.1% (the game comes with an RTP range), high volatility and a maximum win of 15,000x the stake. SymbolsThe base game is set in a candle-lit voodoo cabin, and the free spins move to a moonlit harbour with ghost ships at anchor. The premium symbols are the undead crew: a captain with a cutlass, a bandana-wearing zombie with a pistol and a voodoo priestess with a fan. The lower symbols are 9, 10, J, Q, K and A in dripping, slimy letters. A golden skull is the wild, and a toothy treasure-chest creature is the bonus scatter. Dropdowns and MultiMax MultipliersWinning symbols are removed and the gaps are filled from above. According to the game’s description, a wild spawns in one of the empty positions after each dropdown, for as long as the wins continue. A pirate skull sits above each reel, and every wild that lands on a reel raises that reel’s multiplier by one; in our screenshots two reels were already at x2. In the base game the multipliers reset after each spin. Booty BombsAfter a dropdown, Booty Bombs can fall into the empty positions. They work like mystery symbols and reveal either a matching pay symbol or an instant cash prize, which is also boosted by the reel multipliers. At a stake of 15.00 we saw prizes of 10.00, 15.00, 20.00 and 40.00, and one cascade built up to a total win of 144.00. Raiders Bonus RoundThree or more bonus scatters start the free spins, and during the round the reel multipliers never reset. The game’s description states that the base award is 8 free spins and that you can gamble for extra spins before the round starts; in one of our sessions we went into the bonus with 11 free spins. Where it is allowed, the feature can be bought for 100x the stake for 8 spins or 350x for 14 spins, and the Bonus Boost option costs 50% more per spin to double the chance of triggering the round. Look and FeelThe artwork leans into the spooky side of the pirate theme, with a skeleton hand gripping the reel frame, a raven perched on top and voodoo dolls, candles and potion bottles in the background. The multiplier skulls open their jaws to show the current value, and wins are counted up in a large panel below the reels.
