Spice Spice Baby! is a chilli-themed slot from Play’n GO, released on 28 April 2026. It plays on 5 reels and 3 rows with 243 ways, returns 96.18% (other RTP settings exist), sits at medium volatility, takes bets from 0.10 to 100 and pays up to 6,000x. Its bonus is a cash-coin respin round with multipliers unlocked from three padlocked slots and four jackpots.

A Wall Of Chillies

The reels hang in front of a painted Mexican brick wall, above a heap of red, green and orange chillies that fills the bottom of the screen. The Spice Spice Baby! logo sits in the top-left corner with a bowl of red peppers under it, the four jackpot plaques run down the left side, and three golden padlocked panels hang above the reels on the right.

The symbols are the peppers themselves – red habanero, purple, yellow and green chillies – plus gold A, K, Q and J cards and a green 10. The Scatter is a golden skull in a sombrero, and winning symbols light up inside a fiery orange border.

The controls are kept out of the way: a row of small icons for settings, autoplay and the paytable sits under the reels, the balance and bet are printed in tiny text in the bottom-left corner, and a big green spin button stands on the right. Each win is announced in a banner across the middle row with the number of ways that paid.

243 Ways And The Paytable

Wins pay for matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left, in any row. The paytable is shown at a bet of 100: the red habanero pays 900 for five, 700 for four and 300 for three – 9x, 7x and 3x – and the purple chilli 800 / 300 / 200.

Those two are the only symbols on the paytable page we captured, so the values for the yellow and green chillies, the cards and the 10 are not shown here. What the page does show is how steep the top of the paytable is: the habanero pays three times as much for five as for three, and the purple chilli four times as much.

The 243 figure is simply every combination of one position per reel – three rows to the power of five reels. You do not pick lines; any adjacent chain from the left counts, and every extra copy of a symbol on a reel multiplies the number of ways that chain pays.

Our screenshots show how the ways add up. Three yellow chillies on the first three reels pay 200 from one way, and five purple chillies across the grid pay 800 from one way – exactly the purple five-of-a-kind value. When a symbol appears twice on the same reel, the ways multiply: one K on the first reel and two on each of the next two make 4 ways and pay 200, and a similar A combination pays 400.

In the A screenshot the win counter at the bottom is still rolling up – it reads 346 while the banner already shows the full 400 – and two Scatters sit on the reels at the same time, one of them half hidden behind the win banner. Near misses on the bonus are a regular sight: single Scatters on the last reels also show up in two other base game screenshots.

Three Padlocks

The three golden panels above the reels are multiplier slots, each held shut with a padlock. In one of our screenshots the first lock has opened to reveal x2, while the other two stay chained. On the multiplier screen inside the bonus the slots show x5, x10 and x10, with only the first one unlocked – giving a total multiplier of x5 for that round.

The multiplier screen is dramatic. A golden skull in a sombrero sits on top of each slot, the two locked x10 panels are wrapped in chains with heavy padlocks, and the unlocked x5 glows green. Behind it, flames rise from the heap of chillies, and a big TOTAL MULTIPLIER X5 hangs over everything.

The game’s feature list mentions random multipliers, symbol collection and sticky symbols, and the multiplier screen shows how the padlocks feed into the bonus: each unlocked slot counts towards the total multiplier shown above the board.

Burn, Baby, Earn!

Three Scatters trigger the bonus. The screen that follows reads “Congratulations! Burn, Baby, Earn! Spin for multipliers to spice up your prizes!”, and shows the two symbols that matter in it: a gold CASH coin and a BONUS skull.

The trigger spin in our screenshots has three Scatters, on reels two, four and five, and the whole screen turns to flames around the reels. On that same spin the first padlock above the reels has already opened to show x2.

In the round itself the reels empty out into a wooden board with red markers, and gold coins with values land on it – 1,000, 1,000 and 1,500 in our screenshot on a bet of 100. The total multiplier, x5, is shown above the board, the jackpot plaques move to the top of the screen, and a red counter in the middle keeps a running total, 3,350 at that point. A burning line shows coins being collected into it.

The board has fifteen positions, one for every cell of the 5x3 grid, and the coins we saw show 1,000 and 1,500 – 10x and 15x the bet. The jackpot plaques above the board suggest that jackpot prizes can land in the same round, next to the regular cash coins.

Four Jackpots

At a bet of 100 the plaques read Mini 2,000, Minor 5,000, Major 50,000 and Grand 500,000 – 20x, 50x, 500x and 5,000x. The Grand alone accounts for 5,000x of the 6,000x maximum win.

RTP And Volatility

96.18% is the listed figure, and Play’n GO offers the game at other RTP levels too, so check the info screen at your casino. Medium volatility fits the base game we saw: frequent small ways wins between 2x and 8x, with the real upside locked behind the padlocks and the bonus.

Who It Is For

It suits players who like 243-ways slots with a hold-and-win style bonus, visible jackpots and a multiplier that is set before the coins start landing. If you want a pure free spins game, this bonus plays very differently.
