The reels sit in a carved wooden frame on the African plains, with a flat-topped acacia tree on the left, red rocks on the right and a bright blue sky above. A proud lion sits next to the grid and roars when the bonus begins. Animals Of The Plains

The premium symbols follow the famous safari animals. The elephant is the most valuable at 50x for five, the rhino pays half as much, and the cheetah and zebra complete the group. Lion Wilds And Line Wins

The lion wild often lands stacked over several positions, and our screenshots show how it lifts the base game at a bet of 200. Three Qs on the top row paid 600. Ks and lion wilds on the third and fourth reels paid 900. A column of lion wilds on the second reel with Js, Qs and Ks around it paid 1,600, and a stack of four lions on the third reel connected Ks, Qs and Js for 1,900.

Coins And The Collector

Gold coins with cash values such as 200, 400, 600, 1,000 and even 5,000 land during the base game. The Collector symbol appears to gather them: in one of our spins a Collector showing 2,400 landed on the first reel next to two coins, while a full reel of lion wilds on the fifth reel added to the line wins, and the spin paid 3,200 – 16x the bet.

The Hold And Win Bonus

When the bonus begins, the lion roars. Our trigger spin showed coins of 5,000, 400, 1,000, 200, 200, 600 and 1,000, a Jackpot coin and a reel full of lion wilds. The grid then turned dark purple, the coins locked in place and the regular symbols disappeared. High Volatility In Our Session

At a bet of 200 our balance moved between about 15,300 and 17,500 in the base game, with wins of 600 to 3,200 – 3x to 16x the bet. The bought bonus brought the balance down to 2,400 before the respins started, and with a Jackpot coin still unrevealed the round had paid 9,800 – about 61% of the 16,000 price at that point. That swing shows the high volatility rating in practice: the bonus can fall short of its cost or deliver far more, depending on the jackpot coins.
