Ra’s Reckoning is an Egyptian cluster slot from Play’n GO, released on 4 December 2025. It plays on a 6x5 grid with cluster pays, returns 96.2% at high volatility, and offers a huge top prize of 50,000x the bet. Coin symbols with bet multipliers, golden urns and a Ra symbol that collect them, cascades, and free spins in which a giant serpent rises and silver multiplier coins appear give the game serious power.

Under The Egyptian Night Sky

The grid stands between broken stone columns in a desert at dusk, with pyramids behind it and a huge moon rising over the dunes. On the right, the falcon-headed sun god Ra stands in golden armour with a glowing sun disc behind his head, and golden wings frame the bottom of the screen. When the free spins begin, the sky turns blood red and a giant red serpent coils around the grid.

The symbols are Egyptian treasures: a red Eye of Horus, a golden scarab, a green ankh, a blue cat and a purple lotus emblem, plus A, K, Q, J and 10 in pale stone. Bronze coins carry bet multipliers such as 0.2x, 0.3x and 0.5x, a golden urn and a round Ra medallion play special roles, and a glowing red serpent eye appears as the scatter.

Cluster Pays

Wins come from clusters of matching symbols, and the paytable lists prizes for groups of 5 up to 13 or more. At a bet of 100 the largest groups pay:

Eye of Horus – 10,000 for 13+
Scarab and ankh – 5,000 for 13+
Cat and lotus – 2,500 for 13+

A cluster of 13 or more Eyes of Horus pays 100x the bet. Smaller groups pay far less, so the cascades that bring new symbols after each win are important for building up big clusters.

Coins, Urns And Ra

The coin symbols are what make the base game interesting. They land with multipliers of the bet, and special symbols gather them. In one of our spins coins of 0.3x, 0.2x, 0.2x and 0.5x sat on the first two reels next to a golden urn showing 1.9x, and a Ra medallion glowed on the fifth reel – the spin paid 150.

In another sequence, a cross of five coins worth 0.2x to 0.3x formed in the middle of the grid next to a golden urn and a Ra medallion, and the win moved from 20 to 360, which appears to be the moment the coins were collected. Slot catalogues list bonus symbols and symbol collection among the features, which fits the way the urn and Ra gather the coin values.

Free Spins And The Serpent

Three glowing red serpent eyes on the grid – in our screenshot on the second, fourth and fifth reels – appear to open the free spins, and a red serpent – most likely Apep, the mythical enemy of Ra – appears in the background as the reels change. The round shows a counter at the top, such as “Free Spin 2 of 8”, so our bonus had eight spins.

During the free spins the coins become far more powerful. Next to the bronze coins, silver coins with multipliers of 2x, 3x and even 10x land on the grid, together with wilds and serpent eyes. At spin 2 of 8 a win of 250 came with a coin worth 70 glowing among the Eye of Horus symbols, and at spin 3 the grid filled with bronze and silver coins while the total stood at 250.

A Big Balance Swing

At a bet of 100 our balance moved between 24,800 and 25,510 in the base game. When we later opened the paytable, the balance showed 28,180 and the win box 2,840 – 28x the bet. That is the high volatility at work: the base game pays small amounts, while the free spins with silver multiplier coins can jump quickly.

How Cluster Sizes Pay

The paytable climbs in steps: groups of 5, 6, 7 and 8 symbols each have their own value, then 9–10, 11–12 and finally 13 or more. For the Eye of Horus the jump from 11–12 to 13+ is more than threefold, and the top groups pay many times more than the smallest ones. On a 6x5 grid of 30 positions, a cluster of 13 needs almost half of the board, which is why cascades and wilds matter so much.

What The Bet Changes

All the values in our screenshots were recorded at a bet of 100, and they scale with the stake. The bronze coin values are multiples of the bet: a 0.5x coin was worth 50 at our stake and would be worth 0.10 at the minimum bet of 0.20, where the 50,000x ceiling equals 10,000. The silver coins in the free spins show multipliers of 2x to 10x that boost the round on top of those values.

Controls

The controls follow Play’n GO’s familiar layout: the balance on the left, quick bet buttons of 10, 20, 40, 50 and 100 in the middle, the bet on the right, and a large round spin button with a smaller autoplay button beside it. A purple button in the bottom left corner opens the rules and paytable.

Who It Is For

Ra’s Reckoning is for players who like Egyptian cluster slots with a collect twist and a very high ceiling. The coins, urns and Ra medallions give the base game a goal, the serpent-themed free spins bring silver coins with multipliers of up to 10x, and the 50,000x maximum win places it among the most explosive games in its genre.
