A Silverback In The Canopy

The grid stands in a dark green jungle clearing, and every empty position shows the face of a gorilla carved in shadow. A silverback portrait sits in the top right corner under the MIGHTY WILD: GORILLA logo, and the four jackpot plaques hang down the right-hand edge. There are no fruit or card symbols at all – the only things that land are bananas carrying cash values.

Above the grid sits a row of four collection boxes, one for each reel. This is the part that makes the game different, and it is worth explaining properly.

The Four Collectors

Each box above a reel shows a running total and a small badge with a count. As bananas land in that column, their values are added to the box above it and the badge ticks up. Our screenshots caught boxes reading 2,000, 3,000, 8,000, 13,000, 14,000, 17,000, 19,000, 35,000 and, on one spin, 56,000, with badges from 0 up to 5.

A box showing a gorilla instead of a number is a column that has not started collecting. Because the totals sit above the reels rather than on them, you can watch four separate pots build at once, and a single well-placed banana can be worth far more than its printed value.

Bananas And Jackpot Bananas

The banana values we saw ranged from 1,000 to 6,000, in clean thousand-unit steps. Alongside them land special bananas drawn inside coloured rings and labelled MINI, MINOR and MAJOR – these award the jackpot directly rather than a cash value. A green HOLD THE JACKPOT tile also appears on the grid and starts the respin round.

The plaques on the right read:

The arithmetic only works once you notice what our screenshots were actually staked at. The bet buttons along the bottom offered 400, 600, 800, 1000 and 5000, with the total bet field reading 5,000.00 – and the x5 Chance Level switched on. Against a base bet of 1,000, the Grand is exactly 2,500x, which matches the game’s published maximum win, and the other three come out at a tidy 50x, 20x and 10x.

Chance Level: x2, x5 Or x10

The column of buttons down the left edge is Wazdan’s Chance Level: OFF, x2, x5 and x10. Switching it on multiplies your stake by that factor in exchange for a better chance of triggering the bonus – our screenshots ran at x5, which is why a 1,000 base bet showed as a 5,000 total.

It is the single most important control in the game and the easiest to miss, because the ÖSSZES TÉT (total bet) box underneath it quietly reports the multiplied figure. If you are comparing your balance against the jackpot plaques, compare them against the base bet.

Five Ways To Buy The Bonus

The buy menu has two tabs – FREE SPINS and HOLD THE JACKPOT™ BONUS GAME – and under the second one are five volatility grades rather than the usual two or three, each marked with a row of bananas:

The prices double, then double again, then double twice more, and the banana count rises from one to five across the row. With a balance of 100,000 in our screenshot, only LOW and STANDARD had active buy buttons; the other three were greyed out. Hold The Jackpot

The respin round works the way the name suggests. A RESPINS counter appears in the top right at 3, every new banana resets it, and the collection boxes above the reels keep adding up as the board fills. Our round opened with a 7,000 box already carrying a badge of five, bananas of 6,000, 4,000 and 1,000 on the grid and three respins in hand.

Because the four columns bank separately, this round has more shape than a standard hold and win: a single reel that keeps producing bananas can build a pot on its own, and the badges tell you exactly which column is running hot.

The credit readings in our screenshots show what high volatility costs at this stake. Starting from 65,000, the balance rose to 145,000 on one good sequence, then slid back through 135,000, 125,000, 115,000 and 105,000 to 100,000 over the next few spins – a steady 10,000 a spin with nothing landing.

At a 1,000 base bet with the x5 Chance Level, each of those spins costs 5,000, so two spins per step is exactly what the numbers say. It is a useful reminder that the Chance Level is not free: it buys you more frequent bonuses at five times the burn rate.
