The Golden Train

Above the reels a shining golden steam locomotive races out of a mountain of gold under an orange sky, pulling carriages full of treasure. The “Gold Link Express” logo in gold and red sits in the top left corner above four jackpot plaques, and the reels are set on a dark background with a thin gold frame. Winning symbols crackle with blue electricity, and a gold line traces each paying line.

The symbols are pure fruit machine: a red 7, a golden bell, a gold BAR, a watermelon, grapes, an orange, a lemon, a plum and cherries. Gold coins carry cash values, and golden train coins are the Super Bonus symbols.

Line Wins

Every line win in our screenshots matches the paytable. At a bet of €25, three oranges on the bottom row paid €25 – the three-of-a-kind value scaled up from €15. At €15, three lemons on the first reel joined by red 7 wilds on the second and third reels formed three lines for €45 – 3 × €15. Three bells and a red 7 wild on the middle row paid €150 – the four-of-a-kind value – and a grid full of oranges paid €105 across several lines.

Why Wilds Matter On Five Lines

With only five lines, a single red 7 in the right place can make several lines pay at once. The €45 lemon win in our screenshots is a good example: lemons stacked on all three rows of the first reel met red 7s on the second and third reels, and three separate lines – each worth €15 – paid together. Because the 7 also pays €1,125 for five on its own, a reel full of wilds is valuable both as a substitute and as a symbol in its own right.

Stacks of ordinary fruit work the same way. The €105 orange spin had oranges filling most of the first three reels, so several of the five lines found matching symbols at once.

Jackpots That Scale With The Bet

Our screenshots at two different bets prove that the jackpots are multiples of the stake. At €25 the plaques read Grand 25,000, Major 3,750, Minor 1,250 and Mini 625. At €15 they read 15,000, 2,250, 750 and 375. In both cases that is 1,000x, 150x, 50x and 25x the bet.

Gold Coins

Gold coins with cash values land on the reels and power the Hold and Win bonus. In one base game spin at €25 a coin worth €175 – 7x the bet – landed on the third reel while a bolt of lightning struck the fifth reel, and the win box showed €175. The Bonus Game

Slot catalogues describe a Hold and Win bonus with respins, sticky symbols, a cash collector and additive symbols. Our screenshots show how it starts: coins of €45, €15, €15 and €30 on the first two reels, and three golden train coins stacked on the third reel – the Super Bonus symbols.

At the end of the round, with 0 re-spins left, the rest of the grid had cleared and the three train coins in the middle column each showed €285. The total win banner read €855 – 3 × €285, or 57x the bet. The train coins appear to collect the values around them, which fits the cash collector feature listed for the game.
