Giga Match Mahjong is an Asian fortune slot from Ruby Play, released on 27 October 2025. It plays on a 6x5 grid of mahjong tiles that pay anywhere, returns 96.38%, and takes bets from 0.10 to 10. A Mountain Of Gold

The grid of white mahjong tiles stands between two golden dragons, in front of a mountain of gold ingots and coins on a deep red background. Above it sit two pots: a red one labelled Match Blitz and a blue one overflowing with coins. A column of five numbered jackpot meters runs down the top left, four named jackpots – Grand, Major, Minor and Mini – run down the top right, and a green Buy Feature button sits on the left.

The tiles are classic mahjong pieces: the green dragon 發, the red dragon 中, the white dragon, a character tile, and bamboo and circle tiles of different values. Golden 胡 tiles – the Chinese sign for a winning hand – play a special role.

Pay Anywhere

There are no paylines. A win needs at least 8 matching tiles anywhere on the grid, and the paytable lists prizes for 8–9, 10–11 and 12 or more. At a bet of €5 it shows:

Red dragon – €125 / €25 / €12.50
White dragon – €75 / €25 / €10
Character tile – €60 / €10 / €7.50
Bamboo tile – €50 / €7.50 / €5
Circle tile – €40 / €6 / €4
Bamboo sticks – €25 / €5 / €2.50

(values for 12+, 10–11 and 8–9 tiles). Twelve or more green dragons pay 40x the bet. Winning tiles disappear and new ones tumble in, which slot catalogues describe as avalanche wins.

Wins In Our Session

The message bar under the grid names each win. At a bet of €10 our screenshots show “Match 8 pays €8.00” and “Match 8 pays €20.00” – which would match the 8–9 values for circle tiles and white dragons at twice the €5 paytable. With tumbles, a spin can add several wins together: one spin grew to €12, another to €20, and a third, with red dragons glowing in a burst of light, reached €29.33.

Nine Jackpot Meters

The numbered meters on the left – 2 to 6 – and the four named jackpots on the right all showed amounts with cents that changed from spin to spin. At a bet of €10 the top numbered meter stood around €6,800 and the Grand around €20,000–21,900; at €5 the same meters showed roughly half those amounts. Slot catalogues list a progressive jackpot among the features, and the values clearly scale with the bet.

Free Games

Golden 胡 tiles appear to lead to the free games. In our bought round four of them lit up on the grid with a “Game pays €15.00” message before the free games began. The counter at the bottom right showed 15 of 15 free games, a green x3 multiplier tile appeared on the grid, and the blue pot above the reels displayed x8. That spin paid €104 – more than 20x the €5 bet.

Buy Feature

The Buy Feature button offers the free games directly. At a bet of €5 the confirmation window asked: “Are you sure you want to purchase Free Games at the cost of €500.00?” – 100x the bet. At a bet of €10 the button showed €1,000.

Reading The Tiles

Players who know mahjong will recognise the tiles at once. The three dragons – green, red and white – are the honour tiles and pay the most, while the character, bamboo and circle tiles are the suited tiles and make up the lower part of the paytable. The golden 胡 tiles stand out in yellow and red, and in mahjong the character is what a player calls out when completing a winning hand.

What The Bet Changes

Our screenshots were taken at €10 and €5. Win values double between those two stakes, the jackpot meters roughly halve at the lower stake, and the free games buy costs 100x the bet in both cases – €500 at €5 and €1,000 at €10. At the minimum bet of €0.10 the buy would cost €10.
