Football Hot Overview

Football Hot is a CT Gaming slot on a five-by-three grid where every symbol pays as a scatter. There are no paylines to follow – the game counts how many of a symbol have landed anywhere on the board and pays from five upwards.

That produces one of the steepest steps you will find on a paytable. The trophy pays 60.00 for six symbols and 900.00 for seven – a fifteen-fold jump for one extra tile.

Theme and Graphics

The setting is a floodlit stadium at night: banks of lights burning across the top of the screen, a blue-purple sky, and the white arc of a centre circle painted on the turf beneath the reels. The grid itself is a patch of bright green pitch.

The symbols are the contents of a kit bag – a gold trophy, a yellow number-nine shirt, orange goalkeeper gloves, a pair of orange boots, a referee’s hand holding a yellow card, and a football – with card letters in coloured plastic filling the lower ranks.

All figures below come from demo play at a 9.00 total bet, which makes the paytable readable as multipliers almost directly.

The presentation is deliberately old-fashioned for a 2025 release: a fixed win strip beneath the reels that prints the combination and its value in plain text, a MULTIPLIER field in the corner, and none of the cinematic transitions a modern studio would reach for. It reads like a machine rather than an animation.

Scatter Pays on Fifteen Positions

Every paying symbol is marked SCATTER on the paytable, and each has three rungs: five, six, and seven or more.

The trophy leads at 900.00 for seven or more, 60.00 for six and 30.00 for five – that is 100x, 6.7x and 3.3x the bet. The number-nine shirt follows at 195.00 / 60.00 / 30.00, and then the yellow card, the gloves and the boots share a single rung each at 60.00 / 15.00 / 9.00.

Read the bottom row against the stake: five gloves pays 9.00 on a 9.00 bet – exactly the money back. Six pays 15.00. Three of the six paying symbols are interchangeable at those values, so the great majority of winning spins on this game return between one and seven times the stake.

The Fifteen-Fold Step

Now the trophy, because its ladder is unlike anything else on the board.

Five trophies pay 30.00. Six pay 60.00 – a doubling, which is ordinary enough. Seven pay 900.00.

That is a fifteen-fold increase for a single additional symbol, on a grid of fifteen positions. Six trophies is a pleasant 6.7x; seven is 100x. Nothing else in the game comes close to that discontinuity, and it is where the title’s upside lives.

The demo shows the ordinary side of it: boards of trophies, gloves and boots producing 21.00, 24.00, 81.00, 144.00 and 189.00 against the 9.00 stake – between two and twenty-one times the bet.

The shirt sits in between, at 195.00 for seven or more – a little over a fifth of what the trophy pays for the same count. So the board can fill with a symbol, reward you handsomely by the game’s own standards, and still be worth a twentieth of the best possible version of the same event.

The Wild and the Ball

The paytable is precise about the wild: it appears on 2nd, 3rd and 4th reels only and substitutes for all other symbols except the scatter and the football.

Restricting a wild to the middle three reels matters less on a scatter-pays game than on a payline one – there is no left-to-right requirement to bridge – but it still means the outer columns can never be helped.

The football is the other exception, and it is a multiplier. The demo catches one on the grid carrying x2, with a matching x2 badge lit in the top-right corner and the win strip printing its working: X 2 = 30.00, resolving to a 78.00 total. A multiplier counter marked MULTIPLIER sits permanently in the bottom-left corner.

Several spins also show a banner across the top of the reels reading IS WILD beside a trophy – the game announcing a symbol promoted to wild for that spin.

Free Games and the Buy Menu

The dedicated scatter – an electronic scoreboard – awards 15 free games and a cash prize together, at every level. Three pay 45.00 plus the round, four pay 225.00 plus the round, and five pay 4,500.00 plus the round – 500 times the stake before the free games have even started.

The buy menu offers three lengths rather than one, and at the 9.00 bet they price as follows:

5 free games – 420.00. 10 free games – 750.00. 15 free games – 1,080.00.

That is 46.7x, 83.3x and 120x the stake. Look at the rate rather than the totals: the first five spins cost 84.00 apiece, while each further block of five costs 66.00 apiece. The fifteen-spin round therefore works out at 72.00 per spin against 84.00 for the short one – a seventh cheaper for the same thing.

There is one more detail hidden in the paytable, and it is easy to miss. During a bought bonus the scatter pays from two symbols rather than three – 18.00 plus 15 more free games. A purchased round is therefore easier to extend than a naturally triggered one.

The Gamble

Any win can be risked on a card gamble, and this one gives you more information than most. The screen shows the last card turned and a strip of the 10 previous cards along the top, colour-coded red and black.

Two bets are offered: colour gamble to win x2, or suit gamble to win x4. The demo catches a round with 192.00 on the table and the nine of spades face up.

The card history is cosmetic – each deal is independent, and ten previous results tell you nothing about the eleventh – but it is a nice piece of casino furniture, and the x4 suit option is the faster route on a game whose ordinary spins pay a few times the stake.

RTP, Volatility and Max Win

The RTP is 96.1%, right at the modern standard. Volatility is rated High and the maximum win is 3,000x the bet.

High is the correct call, and the paytable explains why better than any rating could. Three symbols share a rung that returns the stake for five of a kind; the top symbol is worth 6.7x at six and 100x at seven. A game built on one enormous step produces long stretches of near-break-even results punctuated by rare large ones.

Set 100x against the 3,000x ceiling and the rest follows: the maximum needs the trophy’s top rung inside a free-games round with the football’s multiplier applied, not any single event the base game can produce.
