The Panda And His Pots

The top half of the screen is a stage: red silk backdrop, a mountain of gold coins, and a cheerful panda in a green silk jacket striking martial arts poses. The Paytable

The paytable lists wins as multiples of the total bet. The panda and the yin-yang symbols pay the most: 1.2x for five, 0.48x for four and 0.12x for three. The gold coins and the golden koi pay 0.9x / 0.3x / 0.06x, and the blue fan 0.6x / 0.3x / 0.06x. Card symbols, ingots and bamboo make up the rest of the reels.

With 30 lines, those small per-line values add up fast when a symbol stacks. The best example in our screenshots is a big win of 480 on a bet of 20 – 24x – with pandas covering almost every position on the reels. A five-panda line pays 1.2x, or 24 on that bet, so 480 is the equivalent of twenty such lines.

Stacked Pandas

Pandas land in stacks, and that is the base game’s engine. One spin with two full panda reels and a third panda at the top of reel three pays 40; another, with pandas on reels one, two and five and yin-yang symbols in between, pays 108. When the pandas come, they come in groups.

Yin-Yang Symbols

The yin-yang symbols come in the same three colours as the bags – blue, orange and red – and they glow when they land. In one screenshot a blue one on the first reel and two orange ones on reels three and four are lit up at the same time. The matching colours suggest that each yin-yang feeds the bag of the same colour.

They are paying symbols as well, on the same scale as the panda. In the 108 win, a blue and an orange yin-yang sit on reels three and four between the pandas.

Gold Ingots

Gold ingots carry numbers: 2, 12, 16, 20, 30 and in one case 90. The game’s feature list calls them additive symbols, and one of our screenshots shows exactly that – six ingots worth 2, 12, 16, 16, 20 and 30 on the grid, and a win of 96, which is their sum. On a bet of 20 that is 4.8x from coins alone.
