Golden Crown Max Overview

Golden Crown Max is a classic fruit slot from Foxi (Fazi), played on a 5x4 grid with 40 fixed paylines. The maximum win is 5,000x the stake, and bets range from 0.20 to 500. It was released on 3 December 2024. Fazi does not publish an RTP or a volatility rating for it.

The recipe is a familiar one: sevens, fruit and bells, an expanding crown wild on the middle reels, two different scatters and a card gamble after every win. What makes this version worth a closer look is how neatly its numbers fit together.

All figures below were read from demo play at a total bet of 80.00, which is 2.00 per line across the 40 lines. The demo runs in US dollars with a balance of about 50,000, and the footer notes that one credit equals 0.01 USD.

Fire, Gold and Fleur-de-Lis

The background is a gold wall covered in a fleur-de-lis pattern, and the title sits across the top in red and purple letters. The number 40 is shown on both sides of the reels as a reminder of the fixed line count.

The symbols are the classic set: a red seven, a golden bell, watermelon, grapes, cherries, lemon, orange and plum. Winning symbols catch fire, and a purple crown set with jewels acts as the wild.

There are two scatters, both drawn as stars: a blue one and a red one. They pay differently and land on different reels, which is covered below.

The Paytable

The paytable shows values at a line bet of 2.00. The seven pays 20.00 for two, 100.00 for three, 500.00 for four and 10,000.00 for five. It is the only symbol that pays for two of a kind, and our screens confirmed it: the footer of one spin read Line 1: 2 sevens, Win 20.00.

Watermelon and grapes pay 80.00, 240.00 and 1,400.00 for three, four and five. The bell pays 40.00, 80.00 and 400.00. Cherries, lemon, orange and plum share the lowest tier at 20.00, 60.00 and 300.00.

The gap at the top is huge. Five sevens on a single line pay 10,000.00, over seven times more than five watermelons, and that one result is worth 125x the total bet on its own.

Where the 5,000x Comes From

The published maximum of 5,000x is not a random figure. Five sevens pay 10,000.00 per line at a 2.00 line bet, and there are 40 lines. If every line shows five sevens, the total is 400,000.00, which is exactly 5,000x the 80.00 total bet.

In other words, the ceiling is a screen full of sevens. That sounds impossible, but the wild makes it more reachable than it seems: the crown only appears on the middle three reels and expands to cover the whole reel. With three crown reels in the middle, every line needs only sevens on reels one and five.

The Expanding Crown Wild

According to the rules, the crown appears on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th reels and substitutes for all symbols on the same reel except the two scatters. When it lands, it grows to fill all four positions of its reel.

Our screenshots show how effective this is. In one spin a crown reel stood in the third column next to three bells on the first reel and four on the second, and the result paid 1,200.00, which is 15x the stake. In another, the crown on reel three joined four sevens on reel one and two on reel two for 2,400.00, or 30x.

A crown on reel two paid 140.00 in a third capture, with oranges on reels one and three connected through it. Even a single crown lifts an ordinary result.

Two Kinds of Scatter

The blue star pays at any position on the screen. Three are worth 400.00, four 1,600.00 and five 8,000.00, which is 100x the total bet.

The red star pays only for three, and only on the 1st, 3rd and 5th reels. Its prize is 1,600.00, or 20x the stake. Because it can only land on those three reels, three of them means one on each.

The rules also note that all payline wins are counted from left to right starting with the leftmost reel, and only the highest win per line is paid.

The Jackpot Counter

In the bottom left corner of the screen a jackpot counter changes between spins. In our captures it showed a Diamond Jackpot of 1,378.10, a Gold Jackpot of 253.53 and a Platinum Jackpot of 23.46. The Diamond value moved from 1,378.10 to 1,378.11 between two screens, which suggests it is progressive.

The screenshots do not show how these jackpots are won, so we cannot describe the trigger.

The Gamble

After every win you can press Gamble instead of taking the win. The game shows a face-down card, and you choose Black or Red. A correct guess doubles the amount; our screen showed a gamble amount of 2,400.00 with 4,800.00 to win.

The screen also shows a history of the last cards drawn and an Attempts counter, which read 4 in our capture. The green Take Win button ends the gamble at any point.

What Our Session Showed

Across our screenshots, wins at the 80.00 stake came in at 140.00, 260.00, 360.00, 480.00, 1,200.00 and 2,400.00, or between 1.75x and 30x. The 480.00 came from grapes on the first three reels and bells on reels three and four at the same time, a good example of 40 lines producing several wins at once.

The 360.00 spin is interesting for a different reason. Three sevens on reel one and two on reel two formed several short seven lines, and the footer listed each one at 20.00. The same spin also had two blue stars and a red one on the board, and none of them paid: the blue star needs three anywhere, and the red one needs three on reels one, three and five.

Who Should Play It

Golden Crown Max is for fans of classic fruit slots who still want a clear route to a large win. The five-seven line and the expanding crowns make the 5,000x ceiling easy to understand, and the gamble gives the option to push a win further.

The weak points are the missing RTP and volatility data, and a paytable where everything except the seven pays very little. Most sessions will depend on how often the crowns show up.
