Gangster Overlord Overview

Gangster Overlord is a multiplayer fish-shooting game from KA Gaming, released on 20 March 2025. Up to four players share one arena, each with a cannon, and every sea creature you bring down pays a multiple of your shot.

SlotCatalog lists shots from $0.01 to $10 but gives no RTP, volatility or maximum win, and KA Gaming does not publish them either, so our data box leaves those fields open. The figures below come from our own demo session.

An Underwater Hideout

The action takes place in a flooded gangster den: a desk with a reading lamp, a framed portrait and a wooden cabinet sit on the sea floor while the fish swim past. The creatures are dressed for the part – a walrus in a suit, a purple fish in a hat, a shark in a jacket – and the boss is a red octopus in sunglasses holding a pistol.

The other three seats show “WAITING FOR PLAYER” in the demo, so you shoot alone, but the layout is built for a shared table.

The Controls

The bottom of the screen holds everything you need: a minus and a plus button around the shot value, your balance below it, and a red crosshair on the right that lets you lock onto a chosen target instead of firing freely. As in most fish-shooting games, each shot costs its value whether it hits or not, and a target is only paid when it is brought down – bigger creatures take more hits but pay more.

Shots and Prizes

Every target carries its value in dollars when it is hit. At a $1 shot we saw small fish pay $2 to $6, the shark $5, a seahorse-like fish $15 and a red fire extinguisher item $10. A shower of gold coins followed a bigger catch, and a coloured wheel appeared in the bottom left of the screen.

At a $5 shot the values rose accordingly – $10 to $50 for most targets and $150 for one walrus – and a special capture turned the edges of the screen red and showed a crossed-knives banner worth $1,000, which is 200x that shot.

Special Weapons

Next to the shot controls sit round weapon buttons, including a spider-web icon and an octopus icon. SlotCatalog lists a multiplier feature tied to the sharks and octopuses; the web appears to hold several targets at once, but we did not see the rules for it, so treat that as our reading of the screen.

The Cast of Targets

The small fry are clownfish, yellow pufferfish and orange anglerfish, which usually carried the lowest values. Larger targets drift through more slowly: a glowing jellyfish, a rainbow marlin, a swordfish near the surface and the suited walrus, which paid the $150 we saw. The octopus boss is the largest creature on screen, and SlotCatalog’s feature list ties the game’s multiplier to the sharks and octopuses.

Our Session

The balance moved from about $100,448 to $100,538 during the $1 shots and from about $100,978 to $102,503 after the $5 shots, most of it from the $1,000 capture.
