Elysian Jackpots

Elysian Jackpots Overview

Elysian Jackpots is a Greek-mythology slot from Yggdrasil, released on 2 February 2023 and built on the studio’s FastPot jackpot engine, whose logo sits under the game title. The name refers to the Elysian Fields, the paradise of the Greek heroes, and the reels stand inside a white marble temple overgrown with ivy. It plays on 5 reels and 3 rows with 20 paylines, has an RTP of 96% with RTP ranges, low volatility and a maximum win of 1,265x.

Symbols and Paytable

There is no wild in this game. The premium symbols are a white-bearded god, a young woman with a laurel wreath, a golden goblet and a sapphire ring, and the low symbols are the letters A, K, Q and J carved in stone. We read the paytable at a cash bet of €40:

• the bearded god pays €8,000 for five (200x), €500 for four and €140 for three;
• the laurel-crowned woman pays €4,000 (100x), €440 and €120;
• the goblet pays €2,000 (50x), €400 and €100.

Coin Value and Cash Bet

The bet is set as a coin value per line. Our screenshots show a coin value of 0.10 giving a cash bet of €2.00, and a coin value of 2.00 giving €40.00 – the 20 lines times the coin value. A Max Bet button sits next to the spin button, and the published range runs from €0.20 to €100 per spin.

The Key Collection

Below each reel is a row of five keyholes, and every reel has its own colour: blue, purple, green, yellow and red from left to right. The game starts with six keys already spread across the rows. Filling all five holes of one colour awards 10 free spins together with a Jackpot Gem.

The Shield and the Vases

Two Shield symbols in view start a pick game with five vases, and you open one. A vase can hold a cash prize of 1x to 4x the bet, the free spins, the Treasure Chest bonus or a key. Our screenshot of the revealed vases, taken at a €40 bet, shows €40, €80 and €160, a key and the Free Spins Bonus.

The Treasure Chest Bonus

The Treasure Chest game shows three chests in a dark temple hall. Each pick reveals a cash prize of 5x to 100x the bet or a key, and the game continues until a chest reveals a rock. The chest in our screenshot opened for €200, which is 5x at a €40 bet.

Scatters and Free Spins

The round red Free Spins Bonus symbol is the scatter. Three or more in view trigger either the free spins or the Treasure Chest bonus, and four or five scatters also pay 50x or 500x the bet. The free spins can therefore start from the scatters, from a vase or from a full row of keys. During the round all wins carry an x3 multiplier, and the Jackpot Gems you collect decide the jackpots: five gems of the same colour award the jackpot of that colour.

The Five Jackpots

The five plaques at the top of the temple show €40, €200, €600, €1,500 and €15,000. They showed the same figures in both our €2 and our €40 screenshots. The top jackpot is the headline prize, while the overall cap of 1,265x keeps the game’s maximum modest.

Theme and Presentation

The temple frame has columns on both sides and a stone lintel carrying the jackpot plaques, and ivy hangs from the corners. Behind it the scene opens onto a cliffside ruin under a blue sky, with a stone stairway climbing through green foliage. The symbols are painted rather than carved: the two portraits sit in gold frames, the goblet and ring stand on green discs, and the letters are grey stone with a touch of moss. The key rows along the bottom add a strip of colour that fills up as you play.

RTP and Volatility

The 96% RTP is the standard headline figure, but SlotCatalog marks the game as having RTP ranges, so casinos can run a lower version; check the rules screen before playing. The low volatility fits the design: most of the value comes from frequent small side prizes in the vases and chests and from the steady key collection, rather than from rare huge line hits.

Several Routes to the Bonus

What sets the game apart is that the free spins have three separate entrances. Three scatters can trigger them directly, a vase in the Shield game can contain them, and a completed row of keys awards them as well. The side games also feed each other: a vase can hand out a key, and so can a chest in the Treasure Chest game, which brings a full row closer. Even when a spin does not trigger anything, it often moves the collection forward.

Our Base-Game Wins

At a cash bet of €40 our session produced two notable base-game wins: €160 (4x) on a spin with the bearded god on several reels, and €400 (10x) on a spin with goblets and the laurel-crowned woman spread across the grid. Both were shown in large gold numbers over the reels.

Who It Is For

Elysian Jackpots suits players who prefer low volatility and like collecting towards a goal. The keyholes under the reels fill up over many spins, the vases and chests add small side prizes, and the free spins with their x3 multiplier and gem-based jackpots are the part of the game to wait for.
