Big Time Gaming (BTG) was founded in 2011 by Nik Robinson and is based in Surry Hills, New South Wales, Australia. In 2016 it released Bonanza, the first slot to use the Megaways™ mechanic, where the number of symbols on each reel changes every spin for up to 117,649 ways to win. The mechanic has since been licensed to hundreds of other developers and changed the whole slot market.
BTG kept inventing: Megapays, Megaclusters and Megaquads are also its work, and hits such as Extra Chilli, Danger! High Voltage and Lil Devil are still casino-lobby staples. Evolution acquired the studio in 2021 in a deal worth up to €450 million, and BTG now operates as one of Evolution's brands.
We have reviewed 6 Big Time Gaming games so far. Across the 6 with a published RTP, the average is 96.09%, ranging from 94.39% to 96.51%. Every review lists the RTP, volatility, max win and bet ways where the data is available, and most include a free demo you can play right in your browser, with no sign-up.
Our BTG reviews focus on the studio's recent releases. The Megapots games carry the biggest numbers: Millionaire Megapots and Fruit Merge Megapots both go past 90,000x the stake, while Monopoly Rush Hour and Warlocks offer 96.5% RTP.
At the time of writing (September 2026), Big Time Gaming games are available at all of our partner casinos:
