Apollo 27 Classic Overview

Apollo 27 Classic is a three-reel fruit slot from the Redstone studio, released under the Foxi (Fazi) brand on 10 June 2024. It plays on a 3x3 grid with 27 ways to win – every symbol on a reel can connect with every symbol on the next – and it adds three progressive jackpots above the reels.

SlotCatalog lists the game without an RTP, a volatility rating or a maximum win, and the game screens we captured do not show them either, so we leave those fields open rather than guess. Stakes run from $0.05 to $50. The figures below come from our demo session at a stake of 10.00 FUN.

A Gold-Framed Classic

The three reels sit in a gold frame on a red background. Every tile shows its symbol twice, side by side – two lemons, two cherries, two red sevens – which gives the game its bold, retro look. The symbol set is pure fruit machine: red 777, gold and blue stars, grapes, watermelon, plum, lemon, orange and cherries.

The Paytable

Wins need three matching symbols, one on each reel. At a 10.00 stake the symbol wins are:

  • 777: 600.00 – 60x the stake.
  • Gold stars: 400.00 (40x), blue stars: 200.00 (20x).
  • Grapes and watermelon: 160.00 (16x).
  • Plum, lemon, orange and cherries: 20.00 (2x).

The table is steep at the top and flat at the bottom. The four small fruit all pay the same 2x, while the next step up, grapes and watermelon, is already worth eight times as much. The two star symbols sit between the fruit and the sevens, and the red 777 is the only symbol that reaches 60x on a single way.

How 27 Ways Pay

Because each position can link with every position on the next reel, the same symbol stacked on several rows multiplies the number of paying ways. Our captures show the effect clearly. Two lemon ways paid 40.00. A grid full of oranges on the middle and right reels, with one orange on the left, made nine ways and paid 180.00. A screen almost covered in lemons turned into a BIG WIN of 240.00 – twelve ways at 20.00 each – even though a single lemon way is only worth 2x.

The premium symbols pay their full value on one way: a single diagonal line of watermelons returned 160.00, and three sevens – on the bottom row of reels 1 and 2 and the middle row of reel 3 – paid 600.00. That one-way connection across different rows is exactly what the ways system allows and a fixed-line game would not.

Reading the Screen

The game marks each paying way with a thin orange line and prints the value of that way at the end of it, then shows the total of the spin in large gold figures below the reels. Amounts use a decimal comma – 160,00 rather than 160.00 – and the balance and stake sit in the bottom-left corner, with the spin and autoplay buttons on the right. Bigger results get a BIG WIN banner with a shower of coins.

Three Progressive Jackpots

Three meters run across the top: a gold bar, a diamond and a silver bar. During our session the gold jackpot moved between about 1,656 and 1,744, the diamond between about 17,445 and 17,556, and the silver between 214 and 395 – so the diamond was worth roughly 1,750x our stake. Between two of our captures the silver meter fell from 394.53 to 214.23 while the other two kept climbing, which suggests it had just been paid out somewhere and reset – our reading, not something the game states. SlotCatalog describes a mystery jackpot that can drop on any spin; we did not trigger one, and the game screens do not spell out the rules.

What the Session Showed

The balance moved between 700 and 1,410 FUN over the captures. The small fruit carried the session with frequent multi-way wins, while the sevens and the watermelons provided the bigger single hits. Stars appeared often but did not form a paying line in our captures.

Who Should Play It

Apollo 27 Classic is for players who want a three-reel game that is easy to read, with no free spins or bonus rounds to learn. The 27-ways layout keeps small wins coming, and the jackpots give every spin an outside chance of something much bigger.
