Blood Suckers II is a 5 reel, 25 payline by NetEnt that is playable on all devices from as little as 25p a spin. The sequel to the hugely popular classic, it benefits from high definition graphics and 4 bonus features. 2 of them are randomly triggered in the base game giving you 1 extra overlay Bonus symbol on 1 of the first 3 reels to help you trigger the Hidden Treasure Bonus feature – here, you pick from coffins and chests to win cash prizes. The key will help you through the levels (up to 5) where there’s an extra prize if you reach level 5. If you outbrave the Demon, there’s up to 670 times your stake to be won. The other random feature gives you an extra scatter to help you trigger the Blood Rose Free Spins where you’ll begin with 10 free spins. With all wins trebled and a further 10 free spins on offer, there’s a whopping 1,298 times your stake to be won on every free spin!
Blood Suckers II is brought to you by Net Entertainment and is the sequel to the extremely popular Blood Suckers – with 5 reels and 25 paylines, it’s available to play on all devices from 25p to £250 per spin. For now, this game is exclusively playable at Mr Smith Casino and Betsafe Casino.
The game is based on a young vampiress, Amilia, as she arrives at the vampire castle to find her ancestors’ hidden treasure who were slayed by vampire hunters years ago. The daring and dauntless Amilia attempts to outbrave the Demon that guards these ancient riches.
Visually, it’s a step-up from its predecessor with superb high definition graphics and animations – it has an eerie feel and soundtrack to it. Symbols on the reels include spades, diamonds, hearts and spades which are all beautifully depicted. There’s also vampire hunters and the demons on the reels.
The vampire hunter in the red is the highest value medium symbol giving you 20 times your stake for 5 on payline. The wild symbol substitutes for all symbols (except the scatter and bonus symbols) and rewards you with a whopping 400 times your stake for 5 on a payline.
As for bonus features, there’s 2 randomly triggered features in the base game. First up is the Scatter Shot feature – 1 extra scatter can be added to the reels which will trigger 10 Blood Rose Free Spins feature where all medium win symbols give you up to 100 coins when they appear. Next up is the Bonus Shot feature where 1 extra overlay Bonus symbol is awarded on reel 1, 2 or 3.
There’s a Hidden Treasure Bonus feature when is played when you get 3 or more Bonus symbols anywhere on consecutive reels starting from reel 1 (i.e. reels 1, 2 and 3). If you are lucky enough to get 4 Bonus symbols, all coin wins during the feature are doubled – if you get 5, all coin wins are tripled!
Once you begin, you need to pick coffins and chests to reveal coin wins (or cash prizes), a Key symbol, a scatter symbol or the Demon. If you collect 3 scatters, you will trigger the Blood Rose Free Spins feature with 10 free spins awarded.
If you reveal the Key symbol, you will advance to the next level – if you find the Key symbol on the last level (level 5), you will win an additional prize of 40 times your stake. If you uncover the Demon, the bonus feature ends. If you reach the last level, find the Key symbol and manage to outbrave the Demon, there’s 670 times your total stake to be won!
The main attraction is the Blood Rose Free Spins feature which is played when you get 3 or more scatter symbols anywhere on the reels – you are rewarded with 10 free spins which are all subject to a 3x multiplier. If you get 3 or more scatters simultaneously on a free spin, you will get another 10 free spins taking your tally to 20. Whilst it may seem rather simple, there’s a whopping 1,298 times your stake to be won on each free spin!
Visually stunning and with lots of bonus features, Blood Suckers II is much better than the original and has the potential to pay out handsomely in the base game and 2 main bonus features. In the base game, there’s 489 times your stake to be won on each spin. I found the bigger wins in the Blood Rose Free Spins feature naturally. I consider it to be a high variance offering which is sure to become a NetEnt classic
